Kimberly (Kim) Hartman received her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from Towson State University and later went on to attend Drexel University where she received a post graduate certificate in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation. She then combined her academic achievements with over 4,000 hours of dedicated hand therapy service to earn the prestigious title of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) when she passed her National Board Certification in Hand Therapy. Ms. Hartman has more than 25 years of clinical experience in various settings to include outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy specialty clinics, neuro and pediatric care, inpatient hospital, subacute and skilled nursing affiliated care. In addition, she has undergone specialized training in lymphedema management and has done advanced training in the Graston Technique of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. She prides herself on being an active learner who is constantly seeking new knowledge and skills to ensure that her patients receive the most up to date and innovative treatment techniques to help improve their outcomes. She enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained with patients, peers and students and has taught splinting techniques at a local college OT assistant program. In her spare time, Kim enjoys walking, reading, hiking, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
