Dr. Karrie Giger-Trotman is an undergraduate of Notre Dame of Maryland University, then studied Physical Therapy abroad at Saxion University in Enschede, Netherlands. Upon returning to the United States, she attended Shenandoah University where she received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She has more than 25 years of clinical experience including out-patient orthopedics, private practice orthopedics, chiropractic partnership, in-patient hospital and subacute affiliated care, skilled nursing, home care, and hospice experience. She is certified and specialized in spine care with McKenzie International Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy and is a Certified Women’s Health practitioner earning Achievement in Pelvic Pain from the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Giger-Trotman is also certified in Strength & Conditioning, Weight Management, and is a Dry Needling Practitioner. She prides herself in being heavily dedicated to education and has lectured publicly at multiple community events, physician conferences, as well as presenting at the Supreme Court. Karrie enjoys running, biking, and hiking.
